Card Fairies New Ownership

Just last week, I took over the soon to be closed Cricut Card Fairies. I have been a fairy for about two years and loved helping out, and having my own friends and family benefit from being sent cards. Because the original owner is expecting a new baby, she decided it was time to close it up. That hurt my heart, because the fairies are SO wonderful! Thus, I am the proud new commander/owner of the group.

Blog Award Time!

I got an email bright and early today that someone had commented on my blog. Odd because I havent posted anything in a while, so I was eager to check it out! Low and behold, I had been awarded the Liebster Blog Award.

Valentines Day BLOG HOP!

Welcome everyone to the first blog hop hosted by the Cricut Card Fairies this year! The Cricut Card Fairies were created by Commander Crystal, who found inspiration from the already existent Cards for Soldiers. The Card Fairies accept requests for people and families who may need a pick me up for any sort of reasons.  We are a group of VOLUNTEERS who love our cricuts, love making cards, and love spreading cheer through said cards. We have sent all over the United States, Canada, Australia, and even Germany and other parts of Europe.  We send all types of cards: birthday, good thoughts, sympathy, well wishes, get better soon, and so many more. For my Valentines day creation I have made this WONDERFUL folding card as seen below..

My project was made using my favorite Creative Memories product, the folding accordion card. I am sad to have learned that CM is no longer carrying these, but glad I stocked up! I have made these for gifts for many people. They are a hit! 

Mine tend to be a bit bulky, especially this one as I added TONS of 3D embellies.

Pictures really do not do this project justice! If I had someone to give it to, Id keep it and find something else to give away!!!  (Hubby hates cards and things like this, so why bother!! )

New Scrappy Space

Since moving from a two bedroom unit to a three bedroom unit in November, I was able to get rid of my stand alone office, and now have it all at my finger tips!

More Cards!

I just love doing these. Some of them are for my families birthdays and other events. (at least January's and some are for the Cricut Card Fairies. A great group of crafters who make and send cards for those who are down and out in thier luck on life. Its a great pick me up for me, and my kids.. who help out sometimes. Nonetheless, its all I have done in the crafty world lately. I hope you enjoy them!

OH! I also just got a new job.. Start Monday! Working part time at Jo-Anns! Scary I know!
